The problem
Observations and experience can become scattered across people and files, then disappear as teams change or work pauses. It becomes difficult to know what happened, what needs follow-up, and where effort should go next.
What we are building
We are designing a structured field record for varied contexts, unreliable connectivity, and different levels of privacy. Its purpose is to preserve essential context and show each role what it needs without exposing what it does not.
The role of AI
Once knowledge is structured and appropriately authorized, AI can help summarize context, surface follow-up needs, and suggest priorities or next steps. These remain supporting suggestions—not autonomous decisions.
Safeguards
- Access based on the sensitivity of information and genuine need.
- Data minimization, avoiding personal information the task does not require.
- Human review for any suggestion that may affect a person or field decision.
- Design for low-connectivity environments rather than assuming constant access.
What comes next
Validate the data model with practitioners, test core journeys in a limited setting, and measure suggestion quality before expanding any intelligent feature.
